Pudsey Gets a Designer Makeover

Fashion News October 23, 2012

This morning, the Children in Need mascot Pudsey Bear got a designer makeover! Katie Grand curated the project which is currently on display at Selfridges. The bears will later be auctioned off at Christies on November 15th. Grand commented, "I was honoured to curate this fantastic collection, and have had such fun working with the designers on all of their amazing designs. BBC Children In Need is an incredibly worthwhile cause, and one which myself and all of the designers involved in the collection are privileged to support." The designers involved in the charity project include Prada, Burberry, Victoria Beckham, Vivienne Westwood and Henry Holland. All of the bears will be on display at Selfridges in London and Manchester until 14th November. "Selfridges is delighted to support such a purposeful and creative project," said Selfridges creative director Alannah Weston. "It is wonderful to see such remarkable talent helping this most worthy of causes." Click through to see photos of the bears and some of the designers.
