This month's covers continue to be unveiled and today is the turn of Natalia Vodianova for British Vogue. The Russian beauty was shot by Mario Testino for the colourful photo. Editor Alexander Shulman commented, "When I came up with the idea, it was not because I had spotted a root in fashion terms – apart from the somewhat trippy Prada and Miu Miu autumn/winter collections – but now that I've been watching the new-season shows, pop culture references have been bursting out everywhere." Therefore, Shulman urges you, "As you look at the cacophony of colour, print and excess that this Vogue holds, take note: you are looking at your future, or at least next spring's wardrobe." Natalia is a popular star for British Vogue having now racked up 10 covers, but are you a fan of this one for December 2012?
The pinnacle of London Fashion Week for the last few seasons has been the Burberry presentation and this time was no exception. As always, the show was streamed online around the world meaning everybody got the chance to get a front row seat. This season, Christopher Bailey brought a full rainbow of colours to the catwalk starting with white before introducing much brighter, jewel tones. This collection seemed to mark a shift in Burberry's aesthetic with Bailey commenting that it's, "a little bit sassier, a little bit sexier, and a little bit more joyful". Of course the classic trench was present but much cleaner and more chic than previous seasons. It was presented with futuristic capes, delicate lace and metallics. Handbags were much more prevalent than before in bright coloured perspex alongside equally as eye catching footwear. The front row was typically celebrity packed with a sharply dressed Harry Styles gaining the most attention. He sat beside Anna Wintour, Tali Lennox, Alison Mosshart, Victoria Pendleton and photographer Mario Testino. Click through to see photos from the show.
