With hints of monochrome and metallic, splashes of embellishment, lace and a few sheer detailing, last night at the BAFTA Awards, the celebs proved that black doesn't have to be boring! Although there were pops of colour here and there with Marion Cotillard in an exquisite bright canary yellow Dior Couture gown to Jessica Chastain's cobalt blue asymmetric dress, black still seemed to be the winning shade at the star studded red carpet event.
Anne Hathaway was on of the major winners taking home the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in Les Miserables, wearing a black floor length Burberry studded bodice gown. Supporting Actress nominee Amy Adams may have gone home empty handed, but her show stopping black lace detailed Elie Saab number definitely wins her our best dressed award!
The A-list celebs without a doubt made their fashion mark on the red carpet at last night's award show!
