If you're looking for a beautiful way to power dress during the Summer months then we suggest trying on a hot new trend - the floral blazer! Suitable to wear to the office, a wedding or simply at the weekend with jeans, it's stylish statement dressing that makes even more of an impact when worn head to toe. Selfridges is full of designer blooms right now, the Stella McCartney neon jacquard blazer (£1,070) is top of our wish list with the prettiest, punchiest orange rose print. Monochrome shades are ideal if you're a little shy to stand out from the crowd, we suggest the Paul Smith floral blazer (£325). Shop more blooming beautiful blazers from Farfetch.
Metallic is everywhere this SS'13 season! Metallic fabrics by nature look incredibly luxurious which is why they appear in so many designer collections. For spring, choose colourful metallics in peach, brown, blue and grey from designers such as Stella McCartney, Dolce & Gabbana, Balmain and Balenciaga. Metallic fabrics will also beautifully highlight a tan as Blake Lively demonstrates below. A lighter metallic like Blake's sensational silver Chanel evening gown also makes a great choice for a wedding if you're a guest or the bride! Shop a design close to Blake's by Rachel Comey (£549.77) and browse our favourite metallic evening dresses from Farfetch below.
One of the most fashionable colours of the season that is cheering us up like a ray of sunshine right now is yellow! The shade can be seen in many SS'13 designer collections including Stella McCartney, Chloe and Dolce & Gabbana and the good news is it suits most skin tones. We thought Miranda Kerr looked lovely today wearing a yellow off the shoulder dress at a Victoria's Secret launch in NYC. So, time to follow suit by shopping a few of our favourite yellow pieces from (our favourite yellow store) Selfridges below!

Last night London's most beautiful and fashionable came together to celebrate the Elle Style Awards 2013. Top of our best dressed list goes to Kate Hudson, who wore the most incredible Stella McCartney orange strapless lace dress. She certainly turned heads wearing this pretty pop of colour, while other notable stylish guests included Pixie Geldof and Chloe Moretz who both played it safe in on-trend monochrome. Chloe's dress was again by Stella McCartney, who also attended the awards and clearly reigned supreme. Check out our gallery of the best dressed at the Elle Style Awards 2013 below.
You can't fault Burberry's Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey's decision to use 10 year old Romeo Beckham in the brands SS13 campaign. Why? Because the colourful metallic clothes he is wearing are exactly like him. Fun. Oh, and super cute of course. We also love this trend because even though the most glitziest time of the year is over, it still allows us to step into spring with some metallic bling. The most coveted item has to be the incredible Burberry metallic trench, but you can work your way slowly into the look with mirrored accessories such as shoes, belts or bags. Shop this shiny happy people trend below.
2012 couldn't have been more of an incredible year for the Duchess of Cambridge aside from the fantastic news of course that she is expecting! The Queen's Diamond Jubilee year itself marked an impressive number of royal engagements for Kate Middleton and of course, outfits. Added to that the London Olympics 2012 of which Kate was given the role as ambassador, made it the year we finally got to know Kate the great! Here are just a few of her style highlights:
- The Queen's Diamond Jubilee River Pagent marked the start of the summer, where Kate chose to wear a red long sleeve Alexander McQueen dress, famously worn before by Kim Kardashian
- In keeping with the rainy British summer, Kate chose to wear a beautiful blue Missoni coat to accompany the Queen in Nottingham as part of the UK Diamond Jubilee tour
- July saw some sunnier days and the Duchess attending Wimbledon wearing on trend peplum and a vintage Alexander McQueen tennis dress
- As an Olympics 2012 ambassador, Kate marked the start of the games attending a sports exhibition in her now iconic electric blue Stella McCartney dress
- Kate surprised everyone by wearing a relatively simple Whistles summer dress to the London Olympics 2012 closing ceremony
- September saw the Duke and Duchess leave london for a Diamond Jubilee tour of South East Asia, where Kate's summer wardrobe consisted of Temperley London, Prabal Gurung and Erdem - a colourful and fashionable wardrobe which was praised by the press. However it was an Alexander McQueen cream and gold gown worn in Kuala Lumpur, which has been described as her most princess like dress to date, that had the whole world talking
- November saw our favourite dress, a black lace floor length Temperley gown worn to a dinner at St Andrew's University
