Here at ShopStyle we're just as interested in what you're buying and wearing as much as the celebrities! So we wanted to profile users with an exceptional and unique sense of style. Ciara Diamond from London has some great insider fashion and beauty tips because she works for Robeto Cavalli in Harrods. Here she reveals her style secrets.
Why do you love working in fashion?
I’ve been working as a senior sales associate for Roberto Cavalli at Harrods for just over a year now. I trained and worked as a dancer, but fashion was something I had always envisioned myself working in. My role involves building strong relationships with customers, calling, emailing and sending them photos of the new collection, things we know they would like or suit. Informing them if we have any events coming up or Harrods rewards weekends too. I love the Cavalli customer, they’re fun, liberal, and are very adventurous with their style. The best part of my job however is the training and experience I’ve gained in visual merchandising, which is where I see myself in the near future. Although Cavalli is a multi-national company, it seems like a small Italian family. Eva Cavalli visited us the other day, as did Roberto himself. Unfortunately I was on lunch and missed him!
How would you describe your personal style?
Despite working for Cavalli, I'm pretty practical at heart. I work as a sales associate and always tell my clients if they feel good in it, you will look great wearing it! And I like to dress by this mantra. I try not to get too concerned with 'what's in' and stick more to what's good for my shape and colours that suit me.
Where do you like to shop?
I could live in Zara! I love shopping there as it offers good quality, high fashion looking pieces on a budget. I love having a rummage through vintage fairs, then bringing my finds back to life with with a little creativity. There’s lots of cool little shops in Soho where you can get your hands on some great costume jewels.
Who are your favourite designers?
I really admire Alexander McQueen, I love the theatre of it all! Structured drama! Also it's good to support home grown talent. And of course I love Cavalli. Each piece is instantly recognisable despite the brand growing and taking a slightly different direction. A/W was full of heavy embroidery and fabrics, puff ball dresses and skirts but the prints were Cavalli through and through. The show pieces are amazing, but I love the ready to wear! The famous symmetrical jersey dresses suit any shape, they hide a multitude of sins while promoting all the right kind of curves.

What's your favourite item in your wardrobe?
I have a black leather jacket which I bought in New York five years ago and it’s still going strong! I love it because it goes with anything, it takes me from day to night. I always get compliments on it and it reminds me of the amazing time I had in the city that never sleeps!
What's on your current shopping list?
I'm on the hunt for some over the knee black flat boots for winter. And now that Victoria's Secret has graced our shores I want some of their 'Pink' label tracky-B’s.
What trends are you wearing / enjoying?
I'm getting carried away with all the peplum tops and dropped waist skirts and dresses in at the moment, they give me the feminine curves nature never did!
If money were no object, what would you love to buy?
As cliché as it is... A Hermes Birkin bag. Oh and some Charlotte Olympia shoes.
What are you favourite beauty buys?
For skincare at the moment I am loving new to the Uk IOMA (only at Harrods). My friend works for them and introduced me to the range. I have problem skin (spotty at times, oily/dry) and the moisturiser in this range has really helped. Plus I have pretty bad laughter lines for a 26 year old and have found their eye cream is the only one that has made a noticeable difference. I love feminine fragrances like Tom Ford Black Orchid, Narciso Rodriguez and Flower Bomb by Viktor and Rolf. I love Tom Ford lipsticks - the texture is like modern war paint, it stays forever! I have also been on a mission to find the perfect foundation and finally found it in Estee Lauder Double Wear Light.
Are there any particular celebs you admire for their style?
You can’t fault Victoria Beckham, the world is literally her catwalk she always looks so glamorous! I performed in the Olympics closing ceremony and watched the Spice Girls rehearse. It was cold and wet, we were in a car park in Dagenham, they were singing on top of moving taxis, and still out she came in her skyscraper heals, skin tight leathers and over sized sunglasses!
