They say all good things come to those who wait, so we were thrilled to see Made In Chelsea finally return to our screens with series 3. And with even bigger blow-dries, faster fashion and some hot new cast members to boot (Louboutins, obviously), we weren’t disappointed.
Made in Chelsea’s leading ladies have their own individual looks, mixing high street with designer and making their signature styles great inspiration. It's why we can’t wait for our weekly fashion fix! We've put together our own interpretations of their styles here.
And, don't forget ShopStyle and Channel 4 will be bringing you looks from each episode, so be sure to check it out at http://www.e4.com/chelsea/series3/fashion/.
Despite spending most of the first few seasons in a vintage white, Oscar De La Renta suit, guitar playing, singer songwriter Caggie Dunlop is in fact a hippy at heart, who feels equally comfortable dressed down in faded jeans and a baggy t-shirt as she does in designer dresses. Her daytime style is flattering and fashionable but never flashy, reflecting her down-to-earth personality. Like the rest of the cast, Caggie loves accessories, especially jewellery with aqua or blue semi-precious stones.
Spending most of her free time shopping, Millie looks like a model straight out of a fashion spread so it makes sense that this series sees her putting that natural sense of style to use by working as an intern at Glamour magazine. Her day-to-day look is romantic, feminine and flirty. She’s a real girls girl and is often seen in floaty chiffon fabrics and delicate lace detail. In the evening she isn’t afraid to flaunt her supermodel frame in fabulous figure- hugging dresses.
The definition of an English rose, Rosie Fortescue has a very similar sense of style to Kate Middleton. Her key pieces are timeless classics such as blazers, Chanel style jackets, pussy-bow blouses and well fitting shirts and trousers. Her wardrobe however isn’t only full of English reserve, after dark she reveals a wilder side, teaming leather trousers with sky-high stilettos and gothic jewellery.
Career girl Binky’s work outfits are corporate, so at the weekend she loves to relax in shorts and leggings teamed with loose fitting shirts and jumpers. She has a great figure due to a love of sports such as horse riding, so when it’s time to party she isn’t afraid to show some skin in a classic LBD. Statement sunglasses and watches are key to adding a touch of designer glamour to Binky’s dressed-down style.
Cheska Hull has an eclectic sense of style and is the girl most likely to take her evening outfits into the day due to a love of sequins and metallics. The epitome of the classic SW3 Chelsea look, she loves big hair, pearls and designer labels. As a fashion blogger, she’s up to date with the latest trends but shops mostly for glamorous evening dresses which make great investment pieces.
Fashion model and jewellery designer, Amber Atherton is an obvious style crush. Her daily look is understated and modern, skinny jeans teamed with simple cotton or silk vests, usually put together with a blazer. She favours such a simple and elegant clothing look which works best to showcase her love of jewellery - large trophy necklaces, cuffs and earrings.
