Coast may be best known for dresses, but this season don't be surprised if it's their separates you end up coveting. Forget fussy chiffons and ruching, this season design director Kim Elliott has concentrated on clean lines, sharp silhouettes, and simplicity to produce an Autumn collection that's full of unexpected styles.
Catwalk fans will instantly recognise the full, ballet-length silk skirts, which take their inspiration from the Christian Dior show, and look fresh and modern worn with a fitted long-sleeved top and stiletto heels. The shape comes in a few colours but the cherry red is definitely one of the most striking. Look out also for the gold brocade version if you like a strong print.
Skinny trousers, chic shell tops, powermesh panels and embellishment like ostrich feathers, jewels and sequins also feature heavily. And don't forget to check out the mid-season sale for a party season bargain!

Monochrome and stripes are two of the hottest trends this SS'13 season, so why not wear them together like the A-list to create the ultimate style statement! Stripes have been seen in so many designer collections including Dolce and Gabbana, Moschino and Acne, so it's no surprise the celebrities are working the trend. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in particular gets style points from us for wearing a fashion forward black and white stripe, wide leg, Chanel jumpsuit to an Oscar party. Shop a wide selection of monochrome stripe dresses and separates from ASOS below!
Top Tip: Vertical stripes help to elongate the body while horizontal stripes accentuate curves.

Skinny trousers and jeans have long dominated the legwear section of fashion, but perhaps change is in the air! Earlier this week, Scarlett Johansson attended a press call wearing a pair of wide legged trousers with a striped top. It's a great look on her and is a good style to adopt over the festive season! We love Sonia Rykiel's trousers (£303). You can shop more below.
Leggings have become a wardrobe staple for women in recent years, so why wouldn't the trend expand to menswear too? Givenchy created leather leggings for men and it seems the item is now becoming a hit. Russell Brand famously wore women's trousers in the past when Sass & Bide's rat leggings were all the rage, and now he's not alone. Justin Bieber is a fan, as are Kanye West and Lenny Kravitz. They've already been dubbed 'meggings' and are available at Uniqlo meaning they could be about to become mainstream. You can shop meggings below, and tell us – would you like to see the men in your life rocking this look?
