One of the most fashionable colours of the season that is cheering us up like a ray of sunshine right now is yellow! The shade can be seen in many SS'13 designer collections including Stella McCartney, Chloe and Dolce & Gabbana and the good news is it suits most skin tones. We thought Miranda Kerr looked lovely today wearing a yellow off the shoulder dress at a Victoria's Secret launch in NYC. So, time to follow suit by shopping a few of our favourite yellow pieces from (our favourite yellow store) Selfridges below!

Models arrived by escalator to the Louis Vuitton catwalk in Paris, a show which had a retro sixties feel with models such as Cara Delevingne wearing shift dresses and bow headbands. What stood out to us most and we assume everyone at the show were the beautiful bright yellow fabrics and check designs. Try on the Louis Vuitton cheery yellow trend by shopping something very similar below.
This week at very.co.uk we are in love with the yellow brocade shift dress by Love Label, £45.
From the front the dress boasts a swingin’ 60’s silhouette, whilst the low neckline at the back, complete with tiny buttons, give this dress a unique design. The bright pop of yellow will definitely solve those January blues and set you of in the right direction for Spring.
This lovely little dress is a nod towards recent fads such as Pan Am; for the ultimate polished 60’s style wear this dress with a beehive (there’s no shame!) and some serious liquid eyeliner.
